1. The Concept
The Buddha-Bar concept was born in France in 1996, thanks to the visionary imagination of
its founder Raymond Visan – owner of legendary Paris hangout Barfly – when he opened Buddha-Bar Paris on the chic Faubourg St Honor. Taking aesthetic and culinary inspiration from the exotic cultures of the Pacific Rim, Visan’s vision of an “endless summer” lives on in the vibrant venue.

With “seasonal” Buddha-Bar Beach venues worldwide, Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi, located at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi, is the concept’s first permanent venue in the world.

Yuuhi, means the “setting sun” in Japanese, and it’s where you’ll experience good vibes, a delightful selection of cocktails, and unbeatable views.
5. Let Them Entertain You
The first permanent location from the award-winning Buddha-Bar concept, Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi also has nightly entertainment six days a week with a resident DJ, percussionist, saxophonist, and violinist. Every month, the venue hosts international DJs and a lineup of events.
6. Culinary Wonders

The flavours of the signature dishes are focused on blending Japanese and Pan-Asian favourites with Mediterranean flair. Can’t decide what to order? Try the Queen of the Beach, which features oysters, king crab legs, razor clams,
ceviche, sashimi, nigiri, and signature sushi rolls.
7. Take A Seat!
Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi is separated into three main areas: the restaurant, the upper deck and the lower deck. The restaurant includes a show kitchen which features a sushi counter, cevicheria and robata grill.
